I'M BACK

I know it's been awhile since I last posted, but I've had things to do. You see, I just got back from scout camp yesterday. and I think I'll tell you about my adventures there right now.

Now lets see, where to begin... oh I know. On my second day at scout camp, I took the canoeing merit badge, and one of the requirements was to jump out of the canoe , and get back in it with out swamping it, I was probably in the water for about forty minutes when I finally got back in the canoe, and by then it was half-way filled with water then five minutes later it sunk, but hey I still got the merit badge. also that day, I was walking around a table to get my stuff , because I had just earned the carpetry merit badge, and for those of you who don't know it is on of the four original merit badges that are only available for this year since it is the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America, any ways where was I oh, yes as I was saying I was walking around a table to get my stuff when my foot got caught on some stools that we had to make for the merit badge, I fell, and my face hit the side of a cardboard box full of nails and screws, my face felt numb for awhile after that.the next day, I was in a canoe and was just about to dock it when my buddy stood on the side of the canoe, and swamped it, I immediately got my watch out and made sure it was not in the water, because I swam in a lake with a watch on last year, and it never worked again, I didn't get revenge on him, because I'm a nice guy
and also because he was in his wet swim suite for the rest of the night, while I was in a different set of clothes.and on the last day, that same buddy tricked me into going up onto where these logs where, for a soda can, i did it, but the soda can was empty. Also, for one of the merit badges, I had to build a shelter that was not a tent, and sleep in it for a whole night I did that, but it was a very cold night, so it was hard to sleep.

Aside from that I had a great time I earn eight of the five merit badges I went there for I earned Emergency Preparedness (a required meit badge for eagle), Carpetry, Pathfinding(another centennial merit badge), Indian Lore, Mammal Study, Insect and Wildlife Managment, Wilderness Survival, and Canoeing.

If you want to know the total number of merit badges I'll tell you right now 34 and a half (the half is because of a partial one of us got) woth only four people in our troop. there are probably troops out there that have more people than us that didn't earn as many merit badges as us.

WHAT A SUMMER

Well, If you are wondering what Dran0n is talking about when he mentions my head, I was walking up the stair, in his house and tripped, I was also carrying some Lego's at the time so I wasn't able to brace myself for impact, I hit my head on the edge of one of the ballisters. At first I was covering my head with my hand, because it hurt (it felt like a headache) then I started to feel wetness in the area that hurt, when I looked at my hand, I saw blood. I ran home, with my hand on my head, and when I got home, I told mom I was bleeding when she saw me she thought I poked my eye out (the blood had pooled around that area, and trust me it was allot of blood), so then she started freaking out. She called one of her friends, and asked her to take my brothers, while she took me to the doctor.

When we got there, there wasn't allot of people there, and luckily a nurse was coming out, with another patient, so she was free, when the nurse saw us she told me to sit down and let her look at it. My mom actually freaked her out, she was telling my mom it was OK, when she found the puncture she was surprised, because it was a little bit smaller than a thumb-tack she thought it would be a little bit bigger, in fact it was so small, that it only needed one staple, so they put some numbing gel on the wound and then they put the staple in. THE END

So far, this summer has been full of pain for me, but I guess you get it when you are 13 years old, yeah the unlucky number 13, I wonder what else is in store for me, guess I'll have to find out.

HOW I BROKE MY WRIST

Well, today I finally got my cast off, and just so you know, the saw-thing that they use to cut it off, is made to only cut your cast not your body parts, so don't freak out when you see it. Anyway time to tell how I broke my wrist.

It was a Sunday afternoon in the beginning of May, I was riding downhill on a push scooter, going as fast as possible, and enjoying the breeze. I was going so fast, that my hat blew off my head, so naturally, I hit the brake at the back of the scooter, but I was going so fast that I did a wheelie, and lost balance, and hit the asphalt hard, and no I did not here the bone brake, I guess the scooter crashing covered the sound of it, when I felt a familiar pain, I thought I just sprained I, but when I saw it, I screamed Like a little girl because I saw a big area of skin, between my hand and my arm the first thing that came to mind was tumor but I ran to where my hat was anyways, yelling at my younger brother to call dad (my voice went to a higher pitch than it was normally at) when I reached my hat I fell on it, so it wouldn't blow away. Then a stranger came to me to check on me, she told my dad, that she thought my screams of terror/pain, where really screams of joy. Once we got to the emergency room, I got a x-ray, and it turned out that my wrist was broken and dislocated. So they knocked me out to put my wrist in the write place, and wrapped it up in a splint. Then I got to live the life of a millionaire, for the next tree days after that and that's how I broke my wrist.

Oh, and just so you know, it was not worth it, so don't try to break your bones on purpose.
I'll try to get some pictures of it, as soon as possible.

Schools out, and Summers here!

It's finally here the time when schools are closed for the glorious season of summer.
I have been waiting for this day for a long time, and what better way to celebrate this magnificent day than to sit back and relax with a 64 0z. soda, and post on your blog.........
..okay there is allot of things better than that, but I really wanted to do this.

Now that summer is finally here, I don't have to worry about assignments, tests, quizes, grades, lunchmoney, backpacks, teachers, calculators, homework, textbooks, and lockers, for over 2 months. Now I can finally sleep in all week, read, stay up late, hangout with friends, and swim in the swimming pool, once I get my cast off, but I'll get it off next friday, so no harm done (I'm thinking about telling how I broke my wrist by then). Although, I'm going to miss my school, since I'll have to go to anotherone, since the boundaries changed.

I'll try to do more revbiews durring the summer, but no promises. any ways, have a fantastic summer vacation.

The Maximum Ride Series

This action packed series is about a group of kids/teenagers that have been combined with bird DNA and are one the run from the scientists that have created them. The bird-kids have some genetic variation from humans, like bone structures (at least I think so), special powers, and they also have wings, other than those things, they are just like humans. oh, by the way, the scientists that created them, also created werewolf-ish minions that are inferior to their prey, a.k.a The group of bird-kids called the Flock.

This is my one of my favorite book series of all time it starts with them on the run, but then it gets more serious throughout the books. It has non-stop action, and I can't wait for the movie to com out.

why it's been so long

I know it looks like it's been a long time sin my first reviews since April, 2010, but that's because I broke my wrist, in a scooter accident, I will tell the story, as soon as I get a few comments from other people since it's pretty barren here at my blog, well, maybe I'll Tell it any ways, but I'll have to think about it.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

Now, before I get started, not all of my reviews are going to be good, because their are some books that I don't like, like this one.
This book is about a kid named Tom Sawyer and the adventures he has , from witnessing a murder to getting lost in a cave.

I don't like this book to much, because it's a little boring, at least for me, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't read it, it is truly a timeless classic. all in all, I give it a 4.5out of 10, but that's just me.
